Meeting schedule

The METC NedMec+ does not have any submission deadlines. Submitted studies and correspondence received are processed in the order in which they are received and, subject to the agenda, will be placed on the agenda as soon as possible. For new cases, you will be notified of the first date on which the case will be discussed. 

Meeting schedule & timelines

The METC NedMec+ consists of three panels:

• Chamber C meets weekly on Thursdays
• Chamber AO meets fortnightly on Tuesdays in odd-numbered weeks
• Chamber G meets fortnightly on Tuesdays in even-numbered weeks

Research dossiers are placed on the agenda for assessment by one of the three chambers in the order in which they are received. Once a research dossier has been assigned to a chamber, further consideration, including the assessment of responses, takes place within that same chamber.

Before a case file is placed on the agenda, it is assessed to ensure it is complete. Incomplete case files are not placed on the agenda; the submitter receives an email via the Research Portal listing the missing documents.

Once a research file is complete, it is placed on the agenda for discussion at a meeting of one of the three chambers. The submitter receives an email confirmation stating the date of the meeting.
